we're a small team of designers and data analysts committed to creating engaging research experiences for customers of professional services firms. fueled by red bull and beer, we research, build and launch a few websites each year.
After spending hours helping friends and family find firms for everything from lawn maintenance to website design to marketing and even tattoo shops, we decided to join forces to help provide a better way for regular old people to find partners for projects they were working on.
Our earliest site helped people find apartments in Wilmington for cheap. We maintain an active portfolio of around a dozen sites at any given time.
So how do we gather and list firms? We've written several algorithms that look at trust, authority, proximity, size, history, reputation and other factors that are important when evaluating businesses. Using data sets that we either mine or purchase, we evaluate busineses in a variety of niches based on what is most important for consumers in that realm. In the next few years, we're planning to make major updates to a few projects that will allow businesses to build out profiles and connect directly with interested customers.
